This is Meilani. She is Uncle Pete Cruz's daughter. In the Guam tradition, she is Isabelle and Sage's Auntie (in reality she is their 2nd Cousin). She is a really sweet girl! Her baby picture looks similar to Isabelle. Two cutie pies!!

Six Flags - Vallejo

We went to Six Flags with Uncle Pete and his girlfriend Carla. It turned out to be a beautiful, fun day! Sage (and Isabelle) got their share of amusement rides. Sage was hopping on one after another and eventually he got sick. We aren't sure if he got sick from the rides (motion sickness) or just came down with a fever. He ended up at the ER in Tracy, CA, but they couldn't find anything wrong with him. We wanted to make sure that it was safe for him to fly. He finally got better the day after we got back. He's doing fine. Thanks Uncle Pete and Carla for the trip to Six Flags!

Cousin's Katrina and Keith. They are Benny's brother's daughter and son (Uncle Sonny's daughter and son). We met them on our trip to California. It was great for the kids to meet the Cruz side of the family.

Pee-pee in the Potty....

Sage went pee-pee in the potty last night! It was a momentous evening for the Cruz Family! The Commacks had mention to us that their boys had better luck going potty in this position....I don't know if he did it on his own or if Mike put him there. Whatever way he decides to go pee....doesn't matter to us....as long as he is going pee in the potty and not in a diaper (we could start saving money without having to buy diapers). I'm sure we will have to use diapers in bed for a while, but hey it's a start!! Yahoo! When you see him, congratulate him for his success!!

Here she is in front of all those people dancing away. I think we had at least 70 people at the party. She had a good time watching and participating. She was the cutest, sweetest and punkiest pie!! A-belle is her nickname because Sage can't say Isabelle.

We invited the Kicaput Dancers to come in and perform for Isabelle. She loved it. Here she is waiting for them to perform. She walked about them and danced with them. It was so precious and adorable! She was not afraid of the loud drum noises. She thought it was pretty cool. She danced and walked around them during the whole performance. They performed for about 45 minutes. Thank you Kicaput Dancers for performing. It was awesome!!

One of the games that everyone played (yes, everyone including the adults) was to see who could pop the balloon the fastest by sitting on it. It was pretty loud especially when the adults did it.....it sounded like a machine gun went off. It was pretty funny!

Isabelle was introduced to blueberries on September 1st. We got some blueberries from Auntie Cindy and she sure enjoyed them. Thanks Auntie Cindy for the great treat!!

Charlee - Flag Football

Charlee played flag football at the beginning of the school year and the season is already over. Her last games were played at the end of September. She did a good job without knowing how to play and to know what football was all about. She played on the C Team and I'm sure she will play on JV next year. We are very proud of her. She said that she will try-out for other sports, but she is unsure of what ones for now. She said something about basketball, but again we are not too sure. First pic....Charlee warming up before the game....she always had a smile on her face even while playing. Second pic....Charlee in action....she was on the offense team and was blocking the other teams so the running back can get thru.....she was a little aggressive a couple times and got caught....oops!

Horsing Around!

Isabelle and Sage were having fun playing with the "horsey" Mom bought for Sage. Auntie Cindy and Uncle Tom were visiting and put it in the living room. Normally, it sits in the play room, but it's not often that Sage plays on it. He has so many toys and he isn't quite old enough to enjoy every toy yet. He'll get there and I'm sure they both will be destructive with all of them. Sage would tell Isabelle, "Hone on! (hold on)."
