Isabelle

Here is Isabelle at the soccer field. All the kids like to hang around her. At one of the last games, a boy from the other team (his name was Kevin) came and sat next to her and just watched her. Every move she made, he made sure she was taken care of. If she wanted a ball, he would help her get it, if she wanted a snack, he made sure she had one. It was fun to watch. He was a cute kid!

First Year Soccer Player - Not really, but oh well!

We introduced Sage to soccer for the first time and he has not been an active participant in the game. He will practice with the team if Mike or myself will be warming up with him, but once the horn goes off, he will go straight to the sideline and sit down. We don't force him to play...if that is his choice. We are just glad that we introduced it to him. We never know....next year he may play! We will ask him before we sign him up next year. Here he is with his uniform on and his new ball.....he looks cute though no matter if he plays or not.....he's still our boysus!

"Girls Night Out" - Elton John

Here is a picture of Willa, Doll, Cindy and Kathy before the Elton John concert. We had dinner at Simon and Seafort's and we were just heading back to Cindy's place to catch a cab to the Sullivan Arena. The concert was awesome! After concert activities were somewhat of a blur, but we are piecing it together slowly! LOL

Isabelle - 17 months on June 26th

"How come I can't play Mom and Dad!" "Sage isn't playing, can I just put his t-shirt on and play for him.....I just want to play soccer!"

Doll, Sage and Isabelle at Sage's Soccer Game (Kind of)

Here we are at one of Sage's soccer games. We've gone to about six games and Sage has not played one game. He will practice a little bit, but for some reason he will not go out on the field to actually play the game. Oh well....at least we introduced him to the game of soccer. Isabelle wants to play, but can't do it until she is 3. She's going to be fun to watch with her short legs; hopefully, she won't change her mind when the time comes.

Dolly in Unalakleet - Age Unknown

Wow...look what my Aunt Annabelle just sent to me. Baby Doll! I almost pooped my pants when I saw these because I realize that Sage does look like me right now, but things could change.

Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk

Here is Sage riding the carousel at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Horsey, horsey, horsey......of course, Isabelle was too small to ride it so she just had to watch!!

Roaring Camp Railroads - Felton, CA

Notice our poor baby girls in jail!! Isn't this the cutest!! The girl in the picture is our niece, Meilani. We went to the Roaring Camp Railroads in Felton, California. We rode in a 1890 steam engine in the redwood groves. It was a 1 1/2 train ride up a mountain thru the trees. Sage was in awe since he loves trains. He was a little scared of the train when we were able to get out to stretch our legs. All that steam and power of the train made him nervous.

Monterey Bay Aquarium - Monterey, CA

We visited the Monterey Bay Aquarium and that was a neat place. In one area of it, there was a glass wall from the ceiling to the floor of just one aquarium full of different fish. The kids were amazed! We stood there for a while just gazing at the different fish...how cool is that! This picture was taken on the back side of the aquarium.

Lone Cypress Tree 250 years old - Monterey

We drove along the coast near Monterey and Carmel....Pebble Beach. Absolutely beautiful! We were made at ourselves for not having our nice camera with us....we won't travel without it the next time! One of the attraction was the Lone Cypress Tree....said to be 250 years old. Enjoy!
